The easiest way of being out at sea and enjoying the wind and waves is to charter a sailing yacht. Simply, anyone can rent a place on a yacht to spend a week at sea. It will be an experience where you will learn what it means to sail, you will see exotic places and you will enjoy an unforgettable holiday. The yachts where these activites take place, usually have a capacity of 6-10 people (in 3-4-5 two person cabins) being sailed by a qualified skipper, who usually takes the role of a full qualified crew, even if sometimes tourists can also be included in onboard activities. All the charter's members are welcome to use all of available the equipment, as if it was theirs, the skipper being happy to teach anyone who wants to sail by their self.

The Atlantic Rally for Cruisers (ARC) is a challenge for many sailors. It draws about 300 sailing boats yearly and over 1,500 adventurers who aim to cross the Atlantic Ocean by sailing on a 2,700 nautical mile route from Gran Canaria (Canary Islands, Spain) to Saint Lucia (Caribbean).
ARC is a competition for passionate sailors, couples of seafearers and anyone who wants to go beyond their limits, onboard their large or modest crafts, for racing or cruising. They cross the Atlantic together, but they all live their own advenure.
On November 19th 2017 at 13:00 GMT, over 280 sailing crafts left with this regatta. For the first time in the history of the competition established in 1986, two sailing boats with a fully Romanian crew (an Oceanis 38 and an Elan 434) left from Las Palmas de Gran Canaria to Saint Lucia in the Caribbean. This competition was founded by Jimmy Cornell (Dragoș Corneliu Cișmașu) a Romanian-born Brit, one of the best known sailors in the world. Together with my partners of adventure on Andrew (Elan 434) we set out to complete the race together with you so we could help children with autism and we won 1st place in Class E and 8th place in general out of 280 sailing crafts.
